The personal finance website WalletHub recently published its study on The Best and Worst Cities for Singles in 2024. To everyone’s surprise, a city in Pennsylvania made it to the Top 20!

The study compared 182 major American cities across key indicators to evaluate their dating-friendliness. Here are some of the aspects considered:

• Share of Singles Population
• Singles Gender Balance
• City Accessibility
• Nightlife Options
• Number of Attractions
• Restaurant-Meal Costs
• Average Price for a Two-Person Meal

Pittsburgh: A Top City for Singles in 2024

According to these metrics, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania emerged as one of the best cities for singles in 2024. It secured an impressive #18 ranking out of 182 cities!

In categories like Economics, Fun & Recreation, and Dating Opportunities, Pittsburgh scored #83, #24, and #36, respectively.

While Pittsburgh may not be the best American city for singles, it offers a reasonably good dating scene. Interestingly, it’s the only city from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or New York to make it to the list.
