Art and Creativity Event at Berkeley Medical Center

Bring out your inner artist at the Berkeley Medical Center’s Art and Creativity event. Hosted by WVU Medical Students, the event takes place in the Gold & Brew coffee shop from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Whether you’re a staff member, visitor, or a member of the public, consider this as your open invitation. Not only can you flex your creativity muscles, but you also get a chance to have your blood pressure checked. All art supplies are provided, ensuring a convenient and engaging experience. Can’t make it? You can still get credits on the Employee Wellness BINGO card by scheduling your own creativity break.

Community Yoga Classes in Hedgesville

Experience the benefits of yoga with instructor Elizabeth Mauck. The following community yoga classes have been scheduled:

• Cardio Yoga, every Monday and Friday from 9-10 a.m. at the Hedgesville Public Library.

• Gentle Yoga, every Wednesday from 5:45-6:45 p.m. at Christ Reformed UUC, 177 E. Burke St.

Registration isn’t necessary, and a $5 donation is suggested. Bring your yoga equipment if you have any. A limited number of supplies will be available for those without equipment.

Free Health Care at Good Samaritan Clinic

The Good Samaritan Clinic in Martinsburg provides free health care to the uninsured and underinsured. The main clinic is at 601 S. Raleigh St., Martinsburg. It offers a walk-in service and provides family practice care at all the clinics except for the women’s health evening.

Clinic Hours

Here are the operating hours for the clinic:

• First Tuesday of the month at 5 p.m.

• Women’s Health Clinic on the third Tuesday at 5 p.m.

• Rescue Mission every Monday 10:30 a.m. to noon.
