Around 17 fatalities resulted from an air strike in the coastal area Mawasi. A further five were killed and eight injured in the school shelter in central Gaza, Nuseirat; the Israeli military claimed it was targeting militants within the school.
Prosecutors suggest that Menendez, a Democrat, served Egypt’s interests, intervened to halt criminal prosecutions, and concealed these payoffs.
