Previous Run-Ins with the Law
Prior to the shooting, Vensor reportedly brandished a gun at a Mesa bar and was on felony probation. He was registered as a prohibited possessor due to a separate case in Pinal County.
County Attorney Rachel Mitchell stated, “We are very fortunate that no one was hurt during this selfish and senseless act. This sentence is appropriate for the crime committed and keeps our community safe from a defendant with a violent criminal history.”
