Washtenaw Community College (WCC) has been named the best community college in Michigan, as per recent rankings from Niche.com and Intelligent.com.

These educational review platforms independently listed the top community colleges in Michigan, with WCC, located in Ann Arbor, securing the top spot.

Annually enrolling over 20,000 students, WCC offers over 130 degree and certificate programs. With $99 per credit hour tuition for in-district students, it boasts some of the lowest educational costs in the state.

Niche’s “2024 Best Community Colleges in Michigan” list, considered factors such as student reviews, data from the U.S. Department of Education, and campus diversity.

Intelligent’s “Best Community Colleges in Michigan of 2024″ list used data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, among others, focusing on academic quality and affordability.

Other top community colleges in both lists include Gogebic Community College and Lansing Community College.
