The U-M Eisenberg Institute for Historical Studies will host a lecture series on November 16 and 30, featuring presentations from U-M and visiting scholars. On November 16, University of Notre Dame history professor Paul Ocobock will discuss “Planters’ Progress: Local Coffee Science and Trans-Imperial Circulations Through Early Colonial Kenya.” U-M history professor Anthony Mora will present on November 30 covering “Zorro and the Curse of History: Swashbuckling Through the United States’ Mexican Past.” The events are free and will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. in room 1014 Tisch Hall.
