According to Houston Transtar, icy road conditions have been reported at various locations, which include but not limited to IH-45 North Northbound at Beltway 8-North Left Interchange Ramp, Westpark Tollway Eastbound at IH-69 Exit Ramp, and Hardy Toll Road Northbound At FM-1960. Harris County Icy Roads Report
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez reports icy conditions at multiple locations such as the mainlines of SH 99, 22300 block of the North Freeway mainlanes, and 22600 Hardy Toll Road main lanes. The Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office also reported icy conditions at ALDINE WESTFIELD/ HARDY RD and LOUETTA ROAD/IH-45 NORTH FREEWAY among others.
Fort Bend County Icy Roads Situation
In Fort Bend County, the Office of Emergency Management reports slick conditions near Fulshear and Simonton, with the City of Siminton noting the complete closure of I-10 eastbound and westbound mainlanes at FM 359. The Fort Bend Pct. 1 Constable reports ice on the SH 99 overpasses from I-10 south to FM 1093.
Montgomery County Icy Roads Update
Montgomery County’s OEM warns of ice on bridges and overpasses. Roads with reported icing include Walden Road, Lone Star Parkway at Buffalo Springs, and I-45 among others.
