Used Book Fundraiser at Forsyth Township Public Library

The Forsyth Township Public Library’s volunteer organization, Fundraising Friends, is holding a used book fundraiser this weekend. A variety of gently used books and DVDs are available for a suggested donation.

Alongside the books and DVDs, the Gwinn Quilters have kindly donated 50 handmade tote bags to be sold at the event. For a donation of around $10, you can purchase one and fill it with books. All proceeds from these sales will benefit the library directly.

According to Library Director Leslie Moore, most of the available books have only been read once and are in excellent condition. “You could even give them as gifts, or pick up some paperbacks for summer reading by the water. If they get wet, it doesn’t matter,” Moore suggested.

The Used Book Fundraiser will take place this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Peter Nordeen Park. Please note, the library will be closed during the event for Gwinn Fun Daze.
