Scottsdale police are delving into an incident where political signs were defaced, caught on surveillance video. A post shared on X, previously Twitter, revealed a bicycling individual near Hayden Road and Sweetwater Avenue on Sept. 29 at around 4:30 a.m. seemingly cutting up several signs.

The police emphasized that defacing a political sign is a crime and urged anyone with information about the incident to contact investigators at 480-312-TIPS.
A campaign spokesperson for Lake placed the blame on Rep. Ruben Gallego and The Arizona Republic for the sign defacer’s actions.
