Registration Open for Youth History Camp in Marquette

Youth in Marquette now have the opportunity to register for an engaging art and history camp. The Marquette Regional History Center and Liberty Children’s Art Project are uniting for the eleventh time to organize Hands On, an immersive experience for kids aged 8 to 12.

The camp offers a unique blend of art activities and museum tours, letting kids explore the vast exhibits of the museum. Museum Educator Betsy Rutz praised the camp’s unique behind-the-scenes experience as a highlight.

“Our museum has an incredible permanent collection, meticulously organized and maintained,” Rutz shared. “This is a rare glimpse for young people into a world adults rarely see. They get to work closely with a curator and delve into the collection.”
