The Arizona Department of Public Safety has issued a Silver Alert for a 76-year-old Chandler man, Theodore “Ted” Kleca, suffering from a cognitive condition. The alert was issued on Sunday, after Ted was last seen around 3 a.m., reportedly on foot near Price and Willis roads in Chandler.
Kleca, who doesn’t have access to a vehicle, is described as a white male, standing at 5 feet and 3 inches, weighing around 150 pounds with blue eyes. He is believed to have been dressed in a black Hurley hoodie, with either blue sweatpants or tan shorts at the time of his disappearance.
The Chandler Police Department has stated that Kleca doesn’t have a cell phone on him and is showing early signs of age-related dementia. This might make him appear disoriented or confused. Anyone who encounters Kleca is urged to contact the police at 480-782-4130.
