Novak Djokovic Expresses Gratitude to Fitness Coach Marco Panichi

Novak Djokovic, the top-ranking tennis player in the world, conveyed his deep gratitude to his long-standing fitness coach Marco Panichi on Tuesday. This indicates the termination of their professional relationship, marking another significant alteration within the camp of the stellar 24-time Grand Slam victor.

Major Changes in Djokovic’s Team

Just last week, Djokovic, the renowned Serbian tennis athlete, made known his considerations of proceeding without a coach. This comes after the termination of his five-year alliance with Croatian coach Goran Ivanisevic last month, directly following Djokovic’s premature departure from the Indian Wells tournament.

Marco Panichi, a well-respected Italian fitness coach, became a part of Djokovic’s team in 2017, playing a major role in his success over the years.

Djokovic’s Heartfelt Thanks to Panichi

Djokovic utilized his Instagram platform to express his heartfelt appreciation towards Panichi. “Over these amazing years of collaboration, we’ve reached the very top, clinched titles, and shattered records. Above all, it’s been a pleasure experiencing the most ‘ordinary’ training days in and out of the gym with you,” shared Djokovic.

He extended his gratitude further, stating, “Thank you for all the energy, effort, and time you put into making me the best player and person I can be. Much love.”

Djokovic’s Plans for Future Competitions

In terms of future tennis endeavors, Djokovic decided not to partake in the Madrid Open this year. Instead, he has chosen to center his attention on the Grand Slams and the imminent Paris Olympics. However, he does plan on showcasing his skills in the Rome competition.
