Investigation into New Jersey Lt. Governor for alleged misconduct against women
Lt. Gov. Dale Caldwell of New Jersey is being investigated over allegations of inappropriate behavior towards women, as confirmed by Action News.
Action News has learned from a source that the investigation, requested by Gov. Sherrill’s administration, started a few weeks ago. The inquiry is being led by former state Attorney General Christopher Porrino and his partners at Lowenstein Sandler LLP.
Last week, the Governor’s office stated that any reports of misconduct or inappropriate behavior are taken seriously by Sherrill.
Despite multiple attempts, Caldwell’s office has yet to comment on the investigation.
