NC Man Struggles with Delayed Surgery Insurance Payout

TL/DR –

James Marable from Knightdale, North Carolina was frustrated after not receiving his insurance benefits post-surgery. The payout from his private insurance was delayed, partly due to a mathematical error on the paperwork, which stated he would be paid $1,000 instead of the correct total of $1,200. After repeated attempts to resolve the issue with the insurance company, ESIS, and a complaint filed with the NC Department of Insurance, Marable received the full amount he was owed.
