The fight for universal healthcare coverage remains vital in the face of looming uncertainties of another pandemic. The longer we delay, the more unprepared we become for what’s next.
Despite any remarks Fauci made about the virus’s origins, government interventions during the Covid pandemic largely saved lives. The biggest failure was the government’s inability to provide healthcare coverage for all Americans. There should be accountability for the government’s role in the Covid pandemic, but it’s important to understand that the spike in deaths was largely due to our healthcare system’s failure to cover all Americans, not what Fauci wrote in his diaries.
