While no hospitals in New Jersey made the overall honor roll list, several Garden State medical facilities earned a spot on the 505 Best Regional Hospitals list. This list highlights the top hospitals across 49 states and Washington, D.C. which demonstrated superior patient outcomes across common procedures and conditions.

Of the 93 hospitals evaluated in New Jersey, only eleven met the high standards set by U.S. News & World Report to be recognized as Best Regional Hospitals.
Hackensack Meridian Health University Medical Center holds the title of No. 1 hospital in New Jersey, boasting national rankings in 7 adult specialties and 5 pediatric specialties, while also performing highly in 22 adult procedures and conditions.
Another notable mention is Monmouth County’s Jersey Shore University Medical Center at Hackensack Meridian Health, which ranked in the top 10 for its high performance in 5 pediatric specialties and 11 adult procedures and conditions.
