POCOPSON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Chester County Prison residents are told to lock doors as the search for escaped inmate Danelo Cavalcante continues into a third day.

Cavalcante, convicted of murder, was seen on a residential camera near the prison early Saturday, according to the Chester County District Attorney’s Office. He was also linked to an attempted burglary Friday night.

Hundreds of law enforcement officers, including U.S. Marshals Service, SWAT teams and local, state and federal agencies are aiding the search. Cavalcante was convicted of first-degree murder charges in Brandao’s killing. There’s a $10,000 reward for information leading to his capture, according to the DA’s office.
