REVfit: A Leading Personal Fitness Gym in Grand Rapids

Located near Grand Rapids’ bustling Medical Mile, REVfit, a prominent personal fitness gym, has relocated to better serve its clientele. Having provided expert fitness training in Grand Rapids for over 15 years, the gym is excited to continue its mission of helping individuals prioritize their health and wellness.

A Personal Journey Towards Fitness

Owner and personal trainer, Autrey Stirgus, emphasized that the move aims to encourage individuals, especially those in the medical field, to invest time in their own wellbeing. Stirgus’ personal training approach focuses on reintroducing individuals to themselves while encouraging them to achieve their fitness goals.

Part of REVfit’s unique approach is understanding the pressures endured by medical professionals. These individuals often prioritize the health and wellbeing of others over their own. Stirgus and his team work to shift this mindset, encouraging clients to prioritize their personal health first.

Opportunity on Medical Mile

When the opportunity arose to move to a 2,500-square-foot facility near the Medical Mile, Stirgus seized it. His decision was met with enthusiasm from Mark Ansara of Advantage Real Estate, who represented Stirgus in the move. Ansara highlighted that the conveniently located REVfit will be a valuable addition to Grand Rapids’ thriving fitness community.

The Path to Personal Training

Stirgus, originally from Seattle, has had a lifelong passion for fitness. His journey started in the TV industry, where he worked as a sports anchor at Fox 17 after graduating college. Eventually, Stirgus switched career paths and entered the fitness industry, inspired by a 70-year-old gym member’s advice to do something that he loved.

Personal Training: A Relationship Founded on Results

Stirgus emphasizes that personal training is a relationship. It is his love for serving people and witnessing their transformations that drives him. According to Stirgus, “What sets us apart? We love what we do… Once the transformation takes place… that’s the fun part for me when people actually start to see the results.”

REVfit: Ready for Clients

Stirgus and his wife have been working tirelessly to get the new location ready, with some clients already stopping by for training. The gym is set to officially open on October 1. REVfit operates by appointment only, and new clients begin with a consolation to ensure the right fit.

Grand Rapids: A Vibrant Market for Fitness

Stirgus believes Grand Rapids is a promising market for the fitness industry due to its health-conscious residents. The move to Medical Mile, he says, comes with an enormous responsibility, one he is ready to take on.
