Asheville Community Celebrates Summer With Fundraiser for Good Cause

The Reynolds Baptist Church and Reach Life Church in Asheville, N.C., ushered in summer with their Hope 4 YOU Summer Bash on Saturday, June 1. This fun-filled event, providing entertainment and food for all, doubled as a fundraiser for a noble cause.

The occasion featured a variety of attractions such as a bouncy house, slide, and firetrucks to entertain the community while supporting the Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry’s (ABCCM) Transformation Village.

The Transformation Village offers up to 100 beds of transitional housing for homeless women, mothers with children, and veterans. All proceeds from the Summer Bash were donated to this initiative.

Reach Life Church Pastor, James Naisang, described the dual purpose of the event: raising awareness for single mothers and their children at Transformation Village by requesting donations of full-sized hygiene products and fostering community spirit.
