The Ishpeming Rock and Mineral Club is set to meet at the Cliff Shaft Mine Museum, 501 W. Euclid Street, Ishpeming, at 1:30 p.m. this Sunday.

Club member and avid rock hound, Rob Grabarczyk, will share his rock-hounding experiences from “The Silver Mines of Gowganda, Ontario, Canada”. Rob’s presentation includes the region’s history, photographs, and specimens from his journey.

Doors will open at 1 p.m., providing visitors and members an opportunity to bid on silent auction specimens and explore the club’s vast mineral collection. Grabarczyk’s talk begins at 1:30 p.m.

Post-presentation, a door prize drawing, a 50/50 drawing, and a business meeting are scheduled. The event is free, open to all and promises an enlightening learning experience on the marvels of rocks and minerals.
