Chester County, Pennsylvania is renowned for its exceptional public golf courses. Golfweek‘s latest rankings recognize the county as home to two of the best public golf courses in Pennsylvania for 2022, according to writer Jason Lusk.

The rankings were derived by Golfweek’s course-ratings panel, who considered multiple factors.

Wyncote Golf Club in Oxford secured the seventh spot. Designed by Brian Ault, this heathlands-style golf course has proven to be a challenge for golfers since its establishment nearly 30 years ago. The club is recognized nationally as one of the finest in the United States.

Adding to its appeal, Wyncote Golf Club offers four different tee placements, making it suitable for golfers of all ages and skill levels.

In contrast, Broad Run Golfer’s Club in West Chester came in at tenth on the list. The course, designed by Rees Jones, sprawls across 372 acres and is known for its optimal conditions and serene beauty.

Beyond its stunning course, Broad Run Golfer’s Club also offers a full practice area and professional instructors for both group and individual lessons.
