These initiatives have drawn over $910 billion in private sector investment in manufacturing and clean energy nationwide. We have achieved record-level spending on factory construction, created hundreds of thousands of jobs, and partnered with community colleges, high schools, and unions to train American workers for these new jobs.

“Buy American” has been the law since the 1930s. Under my administration, Federal projects are built with American products and staffed by American workers. The “Build America, Buy America Act” ensures domestic preference in Federal infrastructure spending. New requirements mandate construction materials for Federal projects to be made in America.
