TL/DR –

The super PAC affiliated with President Donald Trump raised $177 million in the first half of 2025, a significant sum even in an era of high political funding. Notable donors include billionaire GOP Jeff Yass and former Trump government officials, while a separate secret-money group, Securing American Greatness Inc., donated $13.75 million. Despite Trump being barred by term limits from running for president again, the large fundraising sum indicates his political operation will continue to have significant influence, especially as the PAC spent just $4.6 million over that time, leaving over $196 million for future campaigns.

Trump-Affiliated Super PAC Raises $177 million in 2025 First Half

New fundraising reports reveal that the Super PAC affiliated with President Trump raised a staggering $177 million in the first half of 2025. The donors include GOP megadonors, key Trump allies, and big businesses. The amount raised signals that Trump’s political operation continues to hold notable sway, even as he is barred by term limits from running for president.

Of the total, only $4.6 million was spent, leaving over $196 million for Trump’s efforts to maintain GOP control in Congress in the 2026 midterms. The New York Times noted that Elizabeth Fago of Florida, whose son received a presidential pardon from Trump, donated $1 million to the group.

Jeff Yass, a GOP megadonor, and Securing American Greatness Inc, a secret-money group that supported Trump in the previous election, were among the top contributors.

Cryptocurrency firms Foris DAX and Blockchain.com donated $10 million and $5 million respectively. Elon Musk also contributed $5 million to the fund.

The list of donors also includes high-profile figures like venture capitalists Ben Horowitz and Marc Andreessen, billionaire businessman Timothy Mellon, and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. Elon Musk and Antonio Gracias, prominent supporters of Trump, also made significant donations.

As the midterms approach, these funds will likely play a significant role in shaping the GOP’s campaign strategy.
