DentaQuest Boosts Oral Health Care for Michigan Members

Increasing Dental Care Access in Michigan
DentaQuest has introduced several initiatives to increase dental care access:
Mobile dental clinics: DentaQuest partnered with a mobile dental provider to serve underserved counties. These portable clinics provide a range of services including preventive and restorative dental care.
Teledentistry: DentaQuest partnered with Teledentistry.com to offer virtual access to dental providers. This potentially reduces the need for in-person care by 30% according to a recent DentaQuest pilot.
Member rewards: Eligible plan members may receive gift cards after receiving preventive dental care and completing a survey.
Concierge appointment scheduling: Members can receive help from DentaQuest’s Access to Care team to find the right provider and schedule an appointment.
Provider programs: DentaQuest is collaborating with providers to offer extended office hours and ease administrative burdens.
Community Investments
DentaQuest also invests in the community, partnering with local organizations to improve access to oral health care.
- They donated over $300,000 to Michigan organizations to increase oral health care access and education among underserved communities.
- The organization donated a total of $45,000 to seven organizations including University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and the Michigan Dental Society.
