Penn State World Campus’ Ranking in Online Education for Vets
The 2023 “Best for Vets: Colleges” list by Military Times ranks Penn State World Campus as the fourth-best institution in the “Primarily Online Education” category, moving up from fifth place the previous year. This annual ranking, known as the most comprehensive for schools serving military service members and veterans, is generated from surveys completed by educational institutions and public data sourced from the U.S Department of Education and Department of Veteran Affairs.
Penn State World Campus: Recognized for Quality Online Programs for Military
In addition to its general ranking, Penn State World Campus also shines as the third-best institution for military and veteran learners in the Mid-Atlantic region and holds the 62nd spot nationally. The online campus of Penn State has been delivering quality online education since 1998, and today it provides over 175 comprehensive degree and certificate programs.
Supporting Military-Affiliated Students
For the fall 2023 semester, over 5,900 military-affiliated students are enrolled in Penn State World Campus’ undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs. Military Grant-in-Aid Program at Penn State World Campus
To make higher education more affordable for service members and their spouses, Penn State World Campus offers a Military Grant-in-Aid program. This program can lower the cost of undergraduate tuition by over 40% per credit and can be combined with the Department of Defense Tuition Assistance (TA) program.
