Ranking Criteria
These rankings from U.S. News & World Report are based on six different school quality metrics, scored on a percentile basis. The factors considered include college readiness, state assessment proficiency, state testing performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth, and graduation rate.
Chester County High Schools Ranking
The Downingtown STEM Academy has outshone other Chester County high schools by securing the second position on the list. The school boasts a graduation rate of 100 percent and a high college readiness score of 87.9 out of 100.
