New CFO Appointed by Encore Bank

Arkansas-based Encore Bank announced Eric Movassaghi’s appointment as its new CFO on February 5. Movassaghi will guide the bank’s financial strategy as they continue to broaden their financial products and services.

With over 20 years of executive leadership, Movassaghi’s past roles include CFO at First National Bank of Louisiana and a pivotal role at IBERIABANK. He propelled the treasury department’s asset growth from $2 billion to $30 billion during his 16 years there. Movassaghi is a Duke University engineering graduate and holds an MBA from A.B. Freeman School of Business, Tulane University, New Orleans.
