Ex-CIA Doctor Sues Agency Over Firing, Alleges Right-Wing Influence

TL/DR –

Terry Adirim, the CIA’s former top-ranking doctor, has filed a lawsuit against the spy agency over her termination, accusing the government of denying her due process and allegedly bowing to far-right activists. The lawsuit alleges that Adirim’s hiring at the CIA was leaked to far-right commentator Ivan Raiklin, who has been an intense critic of the Covid-19 vaccine. Adirim’s lawyer, Kevin Carroll, stated that they are suing the CIA for violating Adirim’s privacy, ignoring her due process rights, and breaching her employment contract.

Ex-CIA Health Chief Suues Agency

Former top-ranking CIA doctor, Terry Adirim, has filed a lawsuit against the spy agency, accusing it of denying her due process rights due to her sudden dismissal, allegedly due to pressures from far-right activists. Adirim, formerly with Pentagon, was at the helm of the CIA’s Global Health Services before her abrupt termination.

Adirim’s Alleged Connection to Pentagon’s Vaccine Mandate

Ivan Raiklin, a far-right commentator, claimed that Adirim was the key figure behind the Defense Department’s Covid-19 vaccine mandate. Shortly after Adirim started at the CIA, Raiklin accused her of being the alleged mastermind behind the military’s vaccination program. Adirim’s hiring at the CIA was not yet public knowledge at the time, leading to speculation that an insider leaked her appointment to Raiklin.

Raiklin’s Retaliation Call

Raiklin, a former Green Beret and fierce critic of the Covid-19 vaccine, has been demanding retribution against Pentagon officials responsible for the military vaccination mandate. Raiklin, known to have associations with former Trump adviser Michael Flynn, has dubbed himself the “secretary of retribution.”

Adirim’s Dismissal

Adirim was fired shortly after receiving an encouraging email from the CIA’s COO, who expressed the agency’s intention of fostering her career, says the lawsuit. Her dismissal occurred two days after Lara Loomer, a far-right conspiracy theorist, visited the White House and called for the firing of various national security officials.

Loomer’s Alleged Influence

Following her White House visit, Loomer took credit for the sudden termination of the National Security Agency’s director and its civilian deputy. Adirim’s lawyer argues that Raiklin and Loomer collaborated to secure Adirim’s dismissal.

Legal Proceedings

Kevin Carroll, Adirim’s lawyer, said in a statement, “We’re suing CIA to prevent the Agency from firing Dr. Adirim, and seeking damages for violating her privacy, ignoring her due process rights, and breaching her employment contract.”
