The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) partners with OpenAI for OneGov, bringing AI technology, ChatGPT Enterprise, to federal agencies at just $1.

WASHINGTON — Today, America’s AI Action Plan receives a boost as GSA and OpenAI announce a groundbreaking OneGov partnership to make top-notch AI technology accessible to the federal government. OpenAI’s ChatGPT Enterprise can now be leveraged by agencies at a significantly reduced rate.

“GSA leads in AI adoption by the Trump Administration,” said GSA Acting Administrator Michael Rigas. “An effective AI use to demonstrate our global leadership is crucial; we value OpenAI’s partnership.”

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman remarked, “We’re proud to partner with GSA to make ChatGPT available across the federal government, helping public servants deliver for the American people.”

GSA Federal Acquisition Service Commissioner Josh Gruenbaumadded that GSA makes it easier for federal agencies to access high-level AI tools—improving productivity, efficiency, and decision-making on behalf of the American taxpayer.

In this partnership, OpenAI provides:

  • Universal Access to ChatGPT Enterprise: Every participating U.S. federal agency can access ChatGPT Enterprise for $1 for one year, along with unlimited use of advanced models for an extra 60 days.
  • Educational Tools and Training: Federal employees have access to a new government user community and tailored training resources.
