The meeting will occur from 11:40 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 26 at the Pollack Theatre at Monmouth University. It will be moderated by Senators Vin Gopal (D-11) and Joe Kyrillos (R-13).

“Restoring Public Trust: The Role of Media in Advancing Civility and Informed Policy”

The aforementioned event is free, but early registration is required. Panelists Vannozzi and Wildstein bring unique viewpoints regarding the media’s role in informed public conversation. Vannozzi, an Emmy-winning journalist for NJ Spotlight News, started her career covering State House politics for New Jersey Network News. Wildstein, founder of political news site New Jersey Globe, is known for his extensive knowledge of New Jersey politics.

Moderators Senators Gopal and Kyrillos are both accomplished local entrepreneurs with established public service ties. Gopal, a Democrat, has represented the 11th Legislative District since 2018, currently serving as the Senate Majority Whip. Kyrillos, a Republican who retired in 2018 after serving the 13th Legislative District for 30 years, is a principal in SK Partners and Newport Capital Group director.
