TL/DR –

Michele Morrow, a Republican candidate running for the position of North Carolina’s state schools superintendent, has a history of making violent statements. She has called for the execution of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Roy Cooper, and suggested to fellow Republicans that they might need to resort to violence if Donald Trump loses the election. Morrow, who is contesting against Democrat Mo Green, denied her violent social media posts when questioned by the media and has deleted many of her old posts.

Republican school superintendent candidate Michele Morrow, known for her violent rhetoric, is facing Democrat Mo Green in North Carolina’s public schools leadership race.

Republican candidate Michele Morrow, famous for her call for the execution of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Roy Cooper, seems to suggest potential violence if Donald Trump loses the upcoming election.

Running for state schools superintendent, Morrow expressed to Wake County Republicans, “we either willingly fight now, or we will be forced to fight on Nov 6th.”

“This is war, ladies and gentlemen!,” she proclaimed. Morrow has criticized the media for focusing on her past violent social media posts, many of which she has since deleted.

Morrow made these remarks as part of a message urging Republicans to attend a school board meeting. The comments were part of a special announcement the Wake Forest Republicans posted on their website.

“If we lose NC, we lose the White House and our future,” she cautioned, adding, “Our children are being attacked. This is the American Revolution 2.0!”

‘We could profit from televising his death.’

Morrow is up against Democrat Mo Green to lead North Carolina’s 2500 public schools and advocate for the state’s 1.3 million public school students.

In a 2020 Twitter post, Morrow suggested that former president Obama should be shot on live television. “We could make some money back from televising his death,” she commented.

CNN revealed the story, prompting Morrow to double down on her comments on Twitter. As part of her defense, she highlighted the importance of teaching real history in K-12 education.

Morrow also suggested that Cooper and Biden should be put to death for implementing vaccine and mask mandates during the COVID-19 pandemic. She even brought her children to the Jan. 6 riot, however, she claimed not to participate in the violence.

That night, she posted a video arguing that Trump should implement the Insurrection Act, disregard the Constitution, and use the military to stay in power following the 2020 election, which he falsely claimed was stolen.
