Report: Mark Robinson Labels Himself ‘Black Nazi’, Talks of Buying Slaves
TL/DR –
A CNN report has linked Mark Robinson to a username that made several controversial posts on a porn site between 2008 and 2012. The posts, written under the username “minisoldr,” which is allegedly linked to Robinson, include racial slurs, expressed support for slavery, and derogatory comments about Martin Luther King Jr. and then-President Barack Obama. Despite these allegations, Robinson, who is currently running for governor in North Carolina, has vehemently denied the claims and refused to drop out of the race.
NC Republicans pressured by graphic posts linked to Mark Robinson on porn site ahead of election deadline.
Mark Robinson, connected to a username with explicit posts on a porn forum, is under scrutiny. Described as a “black NAZI!,” he allegedly professed support for slavery, voyeuristic behavior, and expressed disappointment in not being able to join the Ku Klux Klan, according to a CNN investigation.
Robinson also seemingly criticized Martin Luther King Jr. and publicly preferred Adolf Hitler over the Obama administration’s leadership. This revelation threatens his standing in the governor’s race, where recent polls indicate waning support due to negative press.
Before the release of CNN’s report, Robinson posted a video labeling the allegations as mere rumors. He accused his opponent, current attorney general Josh Stein, of leaking the story to CNN and denied any intention of withdrawing from the race.
However, the Carolina Journal reported on private calls for Robinson to withdraw from the race. Politico also reported that an account on Ashley Madison, a site for extramarital affairs, was linked to Robinson’s email address. An adviser to Robinson confirmed the email address belonged to him.
‘I went peeping again the next morning’
CNN cited only a fraction of Robinson’s comments due to their explicit content. The following are some of the comments unearthed:
- “I like watching tranny on girl porn!,” he wrote. Robinson previously stated that transgender women should be arrested for using public bathrooms and suggested that they should not serve in the military or fly planes.
- “Slavery is not bad. Some people need to be slaves. I wish they would bring it (slavery) back. I would certainly buy a few.”
- “I’d take Hitler over any of the sh*t that’s in Washington right now!” (2012)
CNN linked the posts to Robinson through various details on the Nude Africa site and his usage of the username ‘minisoldr’ on other internet platforms. The name “mark robinson,” along with an email address he commonly uses, was also provided on the Nude Africa profile.
‘North Carolinians deserve a viable choice in this election’
This latest disclosure adds to a series of troubling stories about Robinson, raising concerns among Republicans about his electability in November. Recent polls show Robinson lagging behind his Democratic opponent, Josh Stein, with a recent WRAL poll indicating a 14-point lead for Stein.
Scott Lassister, a Republican candidate for the North Carolina Senate, issued a statement suggesting that Robinson suspend his campaign, stating “North Carolinians deserve a viable choice in this election.”
Little Time for a plan B
If Robinson withdraws from the race, any votes he receives would go to his replacement, chosen by the state Republican Party. The deadline to withdraw is 11:59 p.m. tonight.
‘I think you’re better than Martin Luther King’
Despite Robinson’s controversial views and rhetoric, many Republicans were previously supportive of his campaign. In a speech in Greensboro this year, former President Donald Trump likened Robinson to “Martin Luther King [Jr.] on steroids.”
