In this comprehensive study, the personal finance company evaluated 182 cities based on two primary factors – Hispanic business-friendliness and Hispanic purchasing power.
Top-Ranked Cities for Hispanic Entrepreneurs
Pembroke Pines took the top spot, scoring impressively high in both Hispanic business-friendliness and Hispanic purchasing power. Close on its heels was Fort Lauderdale, another South Florida city offering favorable conditions for Hispanic businesses.
“In areas that rank highly for Hispanic entrepreneurs, Hispanic individuals own as many as 30% of businesses,” notes Chip Lupo, a WalletHub analyst.
Orlando, Miami, and Hialeah: Cities Supporting Hispanic Businesses
Orlando, Miami, and Hialeah also showcased strong Hispanic entrepreneurial presence, ranking third, fourth, and fifth respectively in the study. These cities offer Hispanic entrepreneurs good growth opportunities and low corporate tax rates, supporting the start and growth of Hispanic businesses.
Why Pembroke Pines Holds the Top Spot
In Pembroke Pines, nearly 50% of the population is Hispanic, and it boasts one of the highest rates of homeownership among its Hispanic residents. With the highest rate of Hispanic entrepreneurship in the country, it is an ideal city for Hispanic entrepreneurs.
