The scheme is aiding 13 businesses to implement renewable energy systems or increase energy efficiency.

The REAP program has witnessed record demand, following funding from President Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act.
REAP supports agricultural producers and rural small business owners to expand their use of wind, solar, geothermal, and small hydropower energy, and make energy efficiency improvements. These innovations increase income, grow businesses, and address climate change while reducing energy costs for American families.
Since 2021, USDA has invested over $2.3 billion through REAP in 7,923 renewable energy and energy efficiency improvements, including over $66.7 million for more than 233 projects in Wisconsin.
