Industry Veteran Lindsay Dunn Appointed to Lead Personal & Business Banking at City National Bank

July 21, 2026, LOS ANGELES – City National Bank today announced the appointment of long-time commercial real estate banking expert Lindsay Dunn to the position of executive vice president, head of Personal & Business Banking. In this role, Dunn will oversee the bank’s branch network, personal banking, small business, and business banking teams, reporting directly to Howard Hammond, president, and chief executive officer.

A Career Dedicated to Real Estate Banking

Since joining City National in 2005 as a relationship manager in the real estate group, Dunn has served as the executive vice president and the head of Commercial Real Estate Banking for the past five years. She has been instrumental in assembling a team recognized for delivering tailored financial solutions to real estate developers and investors, ensuring their success and that of the bank.

Dunn began her banking career at Union Bank, where she was part of the premier management training program and worked within its corporate banking division.

Driving Growth and Building Relationships

A Passion for Service and Real Estate

In addition to her role at City National, Dunn sits on the boards of RBC Community Investments, RBC Real Estate Capital Corp., and California Science Center Foundation. She is also an active member of the executive committee for the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate and a member of the Real Estate Roundtable.

Dunn holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California.
