Next week, Washtenaw Community College (WCC) will roll out a 12-week program for tech entrepreneurs, offering education, mentorship, and $10,000 in business funding as part of its \”All-In\” Tech Ecosystem Development Program. The program is a joint effort of WCC, Ann Arbor SPARK, and the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti SmartZone Local Development Finance Authority (LDFA).
Michelle Julet, WCC Entrepreneurship Center director, emphasizes the role of technology in entrepreneurship and mentions how essential resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities will be made available to tech founders in the Washtenaw County community. According to a SPARK press release, the program will provide invaluable insights from industry experts, access to academic and business leaders, and financial planning support.
Julet further stresses the rigorous yet supportive nature of the program and the emphasis on education. She mentions the extensive coaching and mentoring offered to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses effectively.
The application process for the program has already concluded. Despite this, Julet urges aspiring and current entrepreneurs who missed out on this opportunity to check out the Entrepreneurship Center’s other programs such as the Start-Up Incubator and the annual Pitch@WCC competition.
