The accident took place at the crossroads of Congress and Sleeper streets around 5:06 p.m. The child, accompanied by family members, was urgently taken to Mass General Hospital where, sadly, she did not survive.

“It’s incredibly hard to hear,” expressed local resident Joseph Alibali on hearing the news. Police diligently collected evidence from the accident scene and interviewed the driver implicated in the incident. However, no arrests have been made. The residents living in the vicinity described it as a horrifying accident.

“I heard abnormal screams from this area and came down to investigate. Shortly after, I heard sirens,” Alibali recounted. The cause of the accident remains unclear. However, the location of the incident is just a few steps from the Boston Children’s Museum.

Kimberly Harris, another local resident, described the chaotic aftermath of the incident. “There were lights everywhere, tape put up quickly, and helicopters flying overhead, it was crazy.” Harris expressed her sorrow for the family who are now mourning the loss of their little girl. “It’s terrible, it’s awful, I can’t even imagine,” she said. A truck was towed from the accident scene, marked by evidence indicators. However, it’s still uncertain if the truck was involved in the accident.
