Arson Suspect Arrested for Igniting Apartment Fire

The fire caused considerable damage inside a unit but no one was inside at the time. Davis was found on April 22 and charged with first-degree arson, he is currently held at the Buncombe County Detention Facility with no bond.
Asheville Apartment Complex Arson Suspect Arrested
Asheville police have arrested Alexander Christian Davis, a man accused of arson at an Atkinson Street apartment complex. The 26-year-old was suspected of causing substantial fire damage on March 31.
No one was inside the affected unit at the time of the fire. Davis was located and arrested around 8:45 a.m. on April 22, and has since been charged with first-degree arson.
The fire suspect is currently held at the Buncombe County Detention Facility under no bond.
