Kaiser Permanente Health Insurance Accepted by Boulder Community Health
Boulder Community Health (BCH) has revealed it will now accept numerous Kaiser Permanente insurance plans. As of this Friday, the majority of Boulder County’s 38,000 Kaiser members will find that BCH’s Foothills Hospital is part of their network. Yet, it should be noted that Kaiser Permanente Select plans will not be included in-network.
BCH’s Chief Financial Officer, Bill Munson, emphasized the importance of Kaiser members within the Boulder community. He added that this agreement aligns with BCH’s vision of partnering to create and care for the healthiest community in the nation. He also mentioned how this will provide Kaiser members with access to BCH services closer to their homes.
Kaiser’s Vice President of Marketing, Sarah Allen, expressed the organization’s enthusiasm about the partnership with BCH. She believes that the addition of BCH to their network is a game changer that will greatly benefit existing and future Kaiser members in Boulder County.
Besides, Kaiser has signed a provider agreement with the Boulder Valley Care Network. This agreement will grant select Kaiser members access to a network of more than 600 primary care and specialty physicians and clinicians, including those from BCH. This agreement will cover Kaiser members with Choice PPO, Senior Advantage Choice PPO, and Senior Advantage (HMO) Medicare health plan memberships.
The agreement also extends to BCH facilities across Boulder County. This includes the Della Cava Family Medical Pavilion in Boulder, the Community Medical Center in Lafayette, and the Erie Medical Center. As a non-profit healthcare system, BCH’s network spans across Boulder, Erie, Lafayette, Longmont, and Superior.
