Northern Michigan University’s Seaborg Center is bringing back its College for Kids program, offering hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) classes to children in grades K-6. The classes, which cover topics like motion, engineering, and gravity, will be held on October 21 and November 11, from 9 a.m. to noon. The program is run in partnership with the NMU School of Education, Leadership, and Public Service, and costs $15 per class.
Northern Michigan University’s Seaborg Center Revives College for Kids Program
College for Kids, a popular educational initiative, is making a comeback at the Seaborg Center of Northern Michigan University for children studying in grades K-6.
The program comprises engaging, hands-on STEM classes that will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 21, and Saturday, Nov. 11. These sessions touch on various topics such as motion, engineering, and gravity.
This initiative is brought to you in collaboration with the NMU School of Education, Leadership, and Public Service. The registration fee per class is $15, and a nourishing snack is included.
