A fatal motorcycle crash has occurred in Raleigh, North Carolina, resulting in the death of a man. The incident took place on South Saunders Street just south of Ileagnes Road.

According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened just after 12:15 p.m., involving a 2024 Kawasaki EX650 motorcycle and two vehicles.

Based on preliminary investigations, 31-year-old Akeem Tucker was driving the motorcycle at a high speed. He sideswiped a slowing Ford F150 due to his failure to reduce speed amidst traffic. Tucker then veered into the left lane, eventually hitting the back of a Ford transit van.

Tucker was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. As of now, no charges have been filed in relation to the crash, as confirmed by the police.
