A 20-year-old man from Grand Rapids was discovered dead in his vehicle early Saturday morning, as stated by the Kentwood Police Department. The incident occurred in the parking area of the 5900 block of Wing Avenue around 12:30 a.m. where police were called to perform a welfare check.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was found with what the police believe to be a gunshot wound. The investigation is still in its preliminary stages. No arrests have been made and no other victims are known at this time.
