Henderson County News Delivered to Asheville Subscribers

378

TL/DR –

The Hendersonville Times-News is switching its delivery method from carriers to the United States Postal Service, starting January 29. Due to this change, some subscribers of the Asheville Citizen Times residing in Henderson County and other areas outside the typical distribution range will also start receiving their papers via mail. A previous letter claiming that all Asheville Citizen Times subscribers would be affected was incorrect, and the majority of subscribers will not see changes.

Important Update for Citizen Times Subscribers

We recently communicated a change in newspaper delivery to select Citizen Times subscribers and wish to provide some clarification.

Our sister publication, the Hendersonville Times-News, is transitioning to delivery via the USPS. Consequently, starting 29th January, our subscribers residing in Henderson County and beyond our defined distribution area will receive their papers via mail.

Newspaper delivery changes starting April 6, 2021.

Our initial message mistakenly stated all Citizen Times subscribers would receive their papers by mail. This isn’t accurate. The majority of our subscribers will see no change in delivery method, and we apologize for the miscommunication.

For Henderson County subscribers, note that the print newspaper might arrive later in the day. Despite this, breaking news and local content, along with the eNewspaper, a digital replica of the day’s newspaper, are accessible any time on our digital platform.
