The goal of the fundraiser is to aid GLEN’s mission, which is to help individuals expunge cannabis from their records.

Buds, Brews and Beats: A Fundraising Collaboration for Great Lakes Expungement Network

The Fire Station and Ore Dock Brewing Company have joined forces to host Buds, Brews and Beats. This event is aimed at raising funds for the Great Lakes Expungement Network (GLEN). The fundraising event will be held at Ore Dock from 6-9 p.m. on Friday. Tickets will be sold at $5 each, with the entire proceeds going towards GLEN.

“We are thrilled to back such a significant cause during our industry’s notable 4-20 date,” expressed TFS co-owner and co-CEO, Logan Stauber. “Partnering with Ore Dock was an obvious choice. There are numerous individuals with cannabis on their records, and through this event, we aim to support GLEN in their mission to address this issue.”

The event will showcase three local bands: Ghoul for a Goblin, Realms and No Expectations. Additionally, the Ore Dock’s Super Dank IPA, last seen at The Fire Station’s Camp Cannabis event in 2022, will make a return at this fundraiser.

Ore Dock curated events manager, Amanda Courchaine, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, “We are excited to collaborate with The Fire Station for this cause,” she said. “We have previously worked together on other events, and we look forward to continuing this relationship.”
