Ron Houtman, a long-serving member of the Kent Intermediate School District and the Kent Career Tech Center, has been appointed the Director of Strategic Planning and Organizational Initiatives. His new role commenced on November 1.
In his position as Director of Strategic Planning, Houtman’s responsibilities include facilitating strategic planning, conducting SWOT analyses, and identifying strategic issues and goals. He will work alongside the Kent ISD leadership and school board, ensuring alignment with the organization’s vision and values.
Houtman shared his excitement about leveraging his expertise in organizational development, project management, and education for positive change.
