Around 8 p.m., authorities received a call about gunfire in the vicinity of Greenleaf Boulevard in Compton, according to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Upon arrival, authorities found approximately 100 people leaving a house. Inside, they discovered a man fatally shot. The victim was declared dead at the scene.

Another man and three women also sustained gunshot injuries. They were rushed to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, the statement confirmed.
