This week, the contractor is scheduled to complete paving the pathway. Pedestrians and bicyclists are advised to stay off the yet-to-be-finished pathway to prevent damaging the fresh asphalt. Also, freshly laid asphalt is extremely hot and can cause burns and tire damage.
For everyone’s safety, please stay clear of the work zone. The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) and the contractor are striving to complete the pathway in the next few weeks and require sufficient space to work. WCRC will keep providing updates on the project’s advancement.
