April 14

Property checks were conducted at 1:53 p.m. on the 1400 block West Ridge Street. Assistance was provided at 3:50 p.m. and 4:41 p.m. on the 200 block Fisher Street and 2400 block Wright Street respectively. At 4:43 p.m., an animal complaint was reported on the 400 block McMillian Street.

A vehicle lockout occurred at 5:00 p.m. on the 2000 block U.S. 41 West. Disorderly subjects were reported on a warming shelter property at 5:23 p.m. on the 400 block West Washington Street and were spoken to.

Assistance was given at 5:43 p.m. on the 500 block West Baraga Avenue. A subject with a mental health issue was assisted at 6:12 p.m. on the 300 block West Baraga Avenue. At 7:08 p.m., a neighbor reported an open back door on the 1200 block Division Street, the owner confirmed all was okay.

A subject was transported to UPHS for a mental health evaluation at 10:31 p.m. on the 2000 block U.S. 41 South. A warrant arrest from another agency was processed and released after bond was posted at 10:31 p.m. on the 300 block Genesee Street.

April 15

Assistance was provided at 12:40 a.m. on the 1100 block North Seventh Street. Property and school checks were carried out throughout the day at various locations such as the 1500 block West Washington Street, South Marquette Schools, North Marquette Schools, and more.

Traffic enforcement was in place at 5:50 a.m. South Front Street near Genesee Street. A crossing guard was on duty at 8:29 a.m. on the 600 block North Front Street. A possible suspicious incident was reported at 8:40 a.m. on the 300 block West Ridge Street and assistance was given.

Loud popping noises were reported at 9:15 a.m. on the 500 block South Fourth Street, found to be pop-its in the parking lot which were disposed of. Another warrant arrest from a different agency occurred at 10:12 a.m. near West Washington Street and Fourth Street.

An animal complaint was made at 12:56 p.m. on the 300 block West Park Street. A wellbeing check was performed at 3:06 p.m. on the 1200 block Division Street. The day concluded with a property check at 3:26 p.m. on the 300 block East Ohio Street.
