Passing of Tina Kilberg, Beloved Ishpeming Resident

Ishpeming, MI resident, Tina Kilberg (97), passed away on April 10, 2024, at the Teal Lake Senior Living Community in Negaunee. Born in Laurium, MI, Tina graduated from Calumet High School and was highly regarded for her dedication to family.

She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a long-term member of the Wawonowin Country Club. Tina’s joy for life shone through her hobbies, which included playing bridge, hosting neighborhood parties, and corporate events.

She leaves behind her daughter, Natalie Bradley, son Martin Kilberg, two grandchildren, plus several nieces and nephews. Tina was predeceased by her husband, Walter M. Kilberg, brother Tony Lencioni, and sisters Genevieve Lanfranki and Delphine Makela.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on April 13, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, officiated by Fr. Christian Flagstadt. The service will be livestreamed. Interment will follow at Lake View Cemetery in Calumet.

The Kilberg family extends their gratitude to the employees of Huron Mountain Bakery and the staff of Teal Lake Assisted Living for their support and care.

In lieu of flowers, they request donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Tunnel to Towers, or the Wounded Warrior Project in memory of Tina.
