Catch the renowned Phoenix Opera’s performance of “Favorite Things” at the Arts HQ Gallery, 16126 N Civic Center Plaza, in Surprise’s next Lunchtime Theater event on Thursday, Jan. 25. Seating opens at 11:30 a.m. for the one-hour show from noon to 1 p.m.

Surprise resident and Arts HQ Gallery manager, Daisy Brady, emphasized that residents needn’t travel to Phoenix or Scottsdale for fine art. “Programs like Lunchtime Theater enrich the living experience in the West Valley. Make a New Year’s resolution to engage more in enriching activities,” she advised.

Soprano Jennifer Nagy and tenor Chad Millar will perform, accompanied by Maestro John Massaro and hosted by Gail Dubinbaum.

Lunchtime Theater: A Haven of Art Performance and Community Enrichment

Lunchtime Theater, a program presented in partnership with the West Valley Arts Council and the City of Surprise, showcases Arizona talent from Phoenix Opera to local jazz trios and theater groups in an hour-long show once a month from October to April.
